My First Girlfriend is a Gal is a romantic comedy anime that centers around protagonist Yoshioka Hachiman’s point of view as he gets to know a group of girls in his class. The series focuses on the lives of high school students in a rom-com setting.
I think the anime is Ano Natsu de Matteru. It just seems to fit (I couldn’t remember the name until I saw it on the list). It’s a fairly realistic high school love story (It’s not going to win the OVA awards any time soon). Not much action, Although there is a military-like group of people. (they had a hard time explaining that to me). It’s more of a show to watch while you are feeling down, but it shows that no matter how bad your situation is, there is someone there for you. An anime was first introduced in 2017 and was produced by Sunrise. This anime is directed by Tsutomu Mizushima and the script was created by Fumihiko Shimo. The anime has also been adapted into a manga by Chibimaru. The anime follows the events of a young man named Junichi Shimao who is attempting to get an anime of his creation made into an anime for high school students. Reflecting on him is the robotic character, Megumi Shimao. As an actual robot, the girl has the ability to be the ideal girlfriend to Junichi.
