Kaguya-sama: Love is War (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai) is a Japanese light novel series written by Aka Akasaka, with illustrations by Nozomi Osaka. It has been published by Shueisha under the Dash X Bunko imprint since December 2014 and eight volumes have been released. The series has been described as a “new wave of romantic comedy” by the publisher. It has received a manga adaptation by Keiji Mizoguchi that began serialization in Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine Miracle Jump in December 2015.
At the renowned Shuchiin Academy, Miyuki Shirogane and Kaguya Shinomiya are the student body’s top representatives.
