She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man is a Japanese light novel series written by Hirotsugu Ryusen and illustrated by Fuzichoco. It began serialization as a web novel published on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō in April 2012.
Kenja no Deshi wo Nanoru Kenja Story
An old man with a gnarled beard and tattered robes watches as a magical incantation unfolds before him. With a flourish of his staff, countless runes swirl into existence, forming an intricate pattern upon the ground. As the final sparkles fade from the air, darkness envelops the land and a host of demons appear. The wizards suddenly lunge forward and each strike with speed and ferocity, felling untold numbers in seconds. The battle is over almost as quickly as it began. And thus after defeating endless hordes of monsters to protect the citizens of their kingdom, this group of hero-mages were crowned “Dunbalf’s Nine Heroes” and lived happily ever after.
